The Myanmar Music Content Organization (MMCO) represents its members’ copyright at home and abroad, collects royalties for the use of their music, and distributes what it collects back to the people who own it. It is a non-profit body.

Objectives
What MMCO exists to do
The four objectives of the organisation.

To protect and administer members’ copyright systematically, on behalf of rights holders, both within Myanmar and abroad.

To administer rights for the benefit of copyright owners and holders of related rights.

To collect and distribute royalties on behalf of rights holders, and to work together with collective management organisations at home and abroad.

To operate as a non-profit organisation.

Membership
Producers, composers, singers, musicians and production companies may all apply to join.
